We are no longer charging for shipping because we are now shipping Freight Collect via Alaska Airlines.   The cost is ~$120, and you will have to pay that when you pick your terrarium up at the airport.    If you do not live near a city that Alaska flies to, please order your terrarium from Chewy, who will be stocking our terrariums starting in August.

Measuring an impressive 36 inches in height, the Alto is the tallest desktop vivarium in the In Situ lineup. It utilizes the same premium materials and advanced structural design as our core models but expands your ecosystem vertically to encourage more natural plant and animal behavior. This added verticality allows flora to maximize their growth potential while providing canopy-dwelling species with the security they need to venture out and explore. Furthermore, the expanded front viewing pane maximizes visibility, turning your enclosure into an immersive centerpiece. To accommodate this increased height, we re-engineered several key components: The standard frosted lens has been upgraded to a clear glass lens to allow deeper light penetration all the way to the bottom of the terrarium. We added two ergonomic door handles, allowing for steady, smooth control and easy removal of the elongated sliding glass doors. We’ve baselined the lightweight Composite Back Panel, CBP, which significantly reduces the unit's total weight to ensure structural integrity and safer shipping transit.

• Deep-Penetration Clear Optics: Features an upgraded clear LED light lens to replace the standard frosted design, successfully driving high-intensity light through dense foliage down to the forest floor.
• Standard Composite Back Panel (CBP): Implements our advanced lightweight composite backing as a baseline to significantly reduce total unit weight and ensure safer shipping transit.
• Dual Ergonomic Door Handles: Upgraded with two strategic placement handles to ensure steady, balanced control when operating or removing the elongated sliding glass panels.
• Expanded High-Definition Viewing Pane: Boasts an oversized front glass display that maximizes visibility, turning your creation into an immersive, living system.

Vivariums typically ship on Monday's or Tuesdays. However, depending on factory loading, they could take longer to build and ship.
