In Situ Ecosystem Refund Policy
Vivariums
- Shipping materials can only be used safely once, meaning there is permanent damage to the shipping materials during the shipping process. Additional uses can cause damage to the vivarium to occur. Because of the high likelihood of damage upon return shipment, un-used, unopened, in-the-box Vivariums are subject to a restocking fee plus return shipping. If the vivarium is damaged in the return shipment, the Customer is responsible for the damage.
- If the Vivarium is damaged during its original shipment to the Customer, or there are defects in materials or workmanship, In Situ will send replacement components such that the Customer can, with minor disassembly/assembly, repair the vivarium to its fullest extent. This warranty period is for 90 days upon receipt of the vivarium.
- In Situ includes instructions in the box for checking the vivariums when received so that problems can be diagnosed and corrected immediately. Please refer to these instructions upon receipt.
Vivarium Systems
- Vivarium systems are custom manufactured for the Customer and cannot be returned or refunded.
Electronics
- Within 10 days, electronic components that do not function upon receipt by the Customer will be replaced. Used Electronics cannot be returned.
