We are no longer charging for shipping because we are now shipping Freight Collect via Alaska Airlines.   The cost is ~$80, and you will have to pay that when you pick your terrarium up at the airport.    If you do not live near a city that Alaska flies to, please order your terrarium from Chewy, who will be stocking our terrariums starting in Mid July.

You can check to see if  Alaska Airlines serves your area here.

The Amazonia now comes in two Styles and Sizes.

If you consider the Selva Plus an exceptional foundation, the Amazonia 24 represents a definitive evolution. While it inherits the same engineering and core features of the Selva Plus, the Amazonia 24 tackles the challenges of plant growth and air circulation directly. This advanced system resolves those issues by incorporating high Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) LED lights to support plant growth, alongside dual built-in air circulation fans engineered specifically to prevent fungus growth and to keep the front panes of the terrarium clear and free of condensation. Some plants are simply high-maintenance sun-worshipers. If your brilliant red bromeliads are fading to a gloomy green or your stubborn orchids refuse to bloom, subpar lighting is the likely culprit. We spent years perfecting a custom color spectrum and intensity that makes flora truly thrive—not just survive. Packing 44 Watts of specialized power, In Situ’s LED lights create a perfect vertical gradient, casting high-intensity (250 PAR) light for canopy-dwelling sun-lovers at the top, down to a gentle (90 PAR) glow for shade-dwellers at the bottom. Plus, here is a little secret from the jungle floor: most understory plants crave the infrared (IR) spectrum. To keep those deep-shade beauties smiling, we added dedicated IR diodes to give them exactly what they are missing. As romantic as foggy windows might be on a chilly winter evening, condensation obstructing your terrarium glass is just plain annoying. Even worse? The stagnant water droplets on leaves that invite mold, fungus, and rot to the party. Our dual-fan circulation system strikes the perfect balance—it will not whip up a hurricane, but it does recirculate the air six times every minute to fend off leaf rot and keep your viewing glass clear. Engineered for the tropics, these fans boast a specialized water-resistant coating and rugged ball-bearing sleeves. They are built to last, and some of our very first customers report their original fans are still spinning 6 years later!

  • Advanced Vertical Light Gradient: Packs 44 Watts of specialized power to deliver high-intensity (250 PAR) light for sun-loving canopy plants down to a gentle (90 PAR) glow for shade-dwellers at the bottom.
  • Infrared Forest-Floor Technology: Features built-in IR diodes designed specifically to mimic the natural jungle understory, keeping deep-shade and low-light flora healthy and vibrant.
  • Anti-Condensation Dual-Fan System: Gracefully recirculates air six times per minute to keep your viewing glass clear and banish the stagnant leaf moisture that causes mold and rot.
  • Tropical-Grade Engineering: Equipped with long-lasting, heavy-duty fans featuring a specialized water-resistant coating and rugged ball-bearing sleeves built to survive high-humidity environments for years.
  • Guillotine-Proof Sliding Doors: Designed with unique sliding glass tracks that minimize the enclosure opening during maintenance, ensuring your spirited fly snatchers can't get pinched by traditional swinging doors.

The differences between the Amazonia Classic and the New Amazonia are:

  • The New Amazonia only has 3 LED Strips instead of the traditional 6.
  • The New Amazonia only has one power supply and no dimmer.
  • On the New Amazonia, if separate control of the lights and fans is required, either an LED controller, such as the TC420, should be connected between the power supply and the LED lights, or, the purchaser should just upgrade to the Amazonia Classic.
  • See our Feature Table to the below that shows a comparison between the two terrariums.

Vivariums typically ship on Mondays or Tuesdays. However, depending on factory loading, they could take longer to build and ship.
